Sonnia House (Mattru Jong District, Sierra Leone)

Sonnia House is an orphanage that provides a safe, loving home for 30 children. Beyond the facility, the organization also supports more than 120 vulnerable children in the community with food, shelter, and access to education. Each year, the Brigade of Mercy supplies materials for school uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, undergarments, and hygiene kits for all 120+ children served by Sonnia House. We have also provided solar lights for the orphanage rooms to ensure the children have a reliable and safe source of light.
