Afghan Refugees
Since the arrival of the Afghan refugees in late August 2020, BOM has been attending to their needs at the local hotels in Virginia. We have provided clothing, shoes, luggage, hygiene products, phone chargers, toys and many other items to help over 200 families. We are also helping families in Fort Lee and the ones who are settling in the area.

Hoffman-Boston Elementary School
Hoffman-Boston Elementary School is a Title I school in Arlington County, VA serving low income students. BOM built a food pantry containing non-perishable items for the students and their families: oil, pasta, canned vegetables, granola bars, canned tuna and jam.

Second Story
Second Story provides safe havens and opportunities to grow and thrive to youth experiencing homelessness and youth and families in crisis. Their programs provide support to youth at critical moments in their lives. BOM provides food, gift cards, clothing, baby items, for teens residing in shelters, young mothers, homeless youth, and local communities in need. Our largest drives are for Back to School backpacks/schools supplies and Thanksgiving baskets. During Covid-19, we have made deliveries every 2-3 weeks.
